A tractor’s vehicle health check is a comprehensive safety and maintenance inspection that assesses its roadworthiness and operational condition. This includes checking essential systems like brakes, steering, and lights, as well as fluids, tires, and safety features like the cab or safety frame, to ensure the tractor is safe to operate and maintain peak performance and to avoid expensive premature failure of components.

Some of whats included in a vehicle health check.
Brakes: A check to ensure they are in good working order.
Steering and suspension: An inspection of these critical systems to confirm they are functioning correctly and to highlight any wear.
Lights and electrical systems: Verification that all lights, wipers, and electrical components are working as they should.
Fluids: Proper levels of engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid, and transmission fluid are checked and maintained.
service: check over of fluid conditions and filters, determine whether a service is required.
Safety equipment: A check of the cab or safety frame, over check of safety devices including handbrake and seat sensors, are in place and functioning correctly.
Overall condition: A visual inspection of the powertrain, safety guards and moving parts including belts and pulleys.

A total of 75 points will be checked as part of a VHC. This service is exclusive to agritrac.
